Why is it that those who claim to follow the Living God and His son Jesus Christ think that by voting for a certain Presidential candidate that all ills will be solved? If they really believe in the Living God and His son Jesus Christ would they not be better suited to look to Him for answers to the problems that face this country and the world?
The. Pledge of Allegiance says, “One nation, under God, for liberty and justice for all.” Is that just another feel-good phrase? Whatever happened to the scripture 2 Chronicles 7:14
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I shall hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”1
What is so hard about following that advice and letting God handle our problems? Now, even in the Old Testament days, all He wanted was for the people He created to turn to Him and love Him. What is so hard about asking God what He wants us to do? What keeps us from asking how do You want this done, when do You want it to be done, and by whom? He never orders us to do something without providing the means for us.
It seems to me that the solution is not in the White House but in the Throne room.
